I'm part of a business coaching group. It's called Strategic Coach. There are about 25 of us and we are all in roughly the same place in terms of our business. By that I mean we all operate a successful business and yet we're working to make it better. We're all self employed so of course there's overlap between work/play/relaxation/family and sometimes (more often than not), they all start looking the same.
We meet for four days out of every year and try to sort this all out, with the help of Teresa our facilitator.
Our last meeting of the year is next week. I have homework. That is I was to ask 10 people who know me well to describe what they think is my "Unique Ability". The letter I sent went like this:
Identifying my unique ability is not someting I could have done myself. I might think I know what my unique ability is, but I don't really. I certainly don't understand what others think and I'm pretty sure this have more value. This is particularly relevant as it pertains to my customers.
I wonder what this all means? I can hardly wait to find out.
